About

Research taught me to listen. Building taught me to ship.

I study how public systems meet people's everyday lives, as a Master's student at the School of International and Public Affairs, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, after four years of Public Administration at Sun Yat-sen University.

My work sits where research meets product. At Mintel I run new-product intelligence for a Nestlé dairy engagement. At Career International I turned 100+ first-hand interviews into structured talent reports. At China Media Group I made content that was watched more than 100,000 times.

And I build. Over the past year I interviewed people from more than 30 countries about settling into China, then designed, coded and launched a platform for them: one person, end to end, from user research to live paid service.

Featured project

One product, built alone, live today.

Adapt to China

Founder & solo developer · Sept 2025 to present

The fragmented, high-friction process of settling into China, turned into one trusted, guided system: daily-life guides, a step-by-step healthcare walkthrough, a language exchange, a crowdsourced heads-up board, and a paid ask-a-local desk.

Research

A year of field observation and in-depth interviews with people from 30+ countries defined the product: built around the user's journey, not feature columns.

Build

Everything shipped by one person: information architecture, UX and UI, a responsive front end in plain HTML, CSS and JS, with self-hosted fonts so it loads inside China.

Business

A freemium model, free public knowledge feeding a paid one-to-one desk, with a B2C-to-B2B path toward universities and employers, sized (TAM, SAM, SOM) and written into a full business plan.

Experience

Mintel

Market Research Intern · May to Sep 2026 · Shanghai

New-product intelligence for Nestlé dairy across street drinks and bakery. Career International

Intern, Healthcare Practice · May to Aug 2025

Conducted 100+ first-hand phone interviews and independently turned them into 10+ structured talent reports, building a reusable annotation and classification framework for mapping how leading multinationals organize, while running full-cycle candidate sourcing and screening.

China Media Group, Guangzhou

Reporter Intern · Jan to Apr 2024

Planned and reviewed multimedia content, produced a promotional video with 100,000+ plays on CMG's Yangshipin platform, handled bilingual interview transcription and translation, and wrote posts with 6,000+ reads for the Voice of the Greater Bay Area account.
